A deployable self-sufficient disaster relief infrastructure consisting of medical pods that can be efficiently transported, deployed and tessellated into a fully functioning hospital, and a limbed transportation system that carries the medical pods through debris and uneven terrain to the site.
method statement of deployment
Once the pod is on site, its envelope inflates and the cuboid unfolds into a dome with a hexagonal base. The equipment stored in the middle of the pod is put into place, and the pod becomes functional. The pods are connected via airlocked bridges with different air pressures to prevent the spread of infection.
